I have literally “grown up” in the printing business following in my father’s footsteps. I graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA with a degree in Graphic Communications and have not stopped learning new, innovative techniques to help my customers produce amazing products. My skill and ability to streamline the processes for my customers is the reason I've maintained relationships for decades.
I especially enjoy assisting with the development of new campaigns and product launches for my customers. Be it commercial printing, direct-mail, packaging, wide-format, or specialty collateral pieces, I have experience with it all.
When I'm not helping my customers, I enjoy anything outdoors. From gardening, walking my dog “Kona”, traveling with my wife or visiting the boys in Utah and Texas, I'm always on the move.
I have been on the front lines of the graphic design and printing/publishing industry for 19+ years. As the Art Director for numerous projects, including a nationally distributed and recognized magazine, I have the capacity to render marketing concepts into visual messages. My industry know-how coupled with in-depth design expertise has helped me and my team at CPCneutek set a new precedent in client relations and project management.
As a former owner of a successful printing and publishing company, my deep understanding of pre-press and the printing process make me an industry expert and a worthy advisor.
I also believe deeply that a happy life is paramount and in order to work hard one must play hard. With a home base in Crested Butte, Colorado, I can be found on the high alpine singletrack in the summer and searching for untracked powder turns when the snow flies.
I have been in the printing industry for 19 years. My client management and sales expertise skills were honed as a sales rep and owner of a successful printing and publishing company for more than 10 years before joining the CPCneutek team. I am directly responsible for gaining and maintaining several national accounts as well as managing multiple publications from inception to completion.
My family and I have lived in Crested Butte, Colorado for the last 19 years and put a large emphasis on playing outside to maintain a healthy and happy outlook on life. My thirst for adventure has found me on the first-ever, government-approved mountain bike descent from the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,341ft.), fly fishing the flats of Christmas Island, exploring high alpine meadows and skiing in the backcountry of Crested Butte, Colorado.
I'm a Print Guy, I love putting ink on stuff. I really love helping people figure out how to put ink on their stuff. I have lots of years working in every aspect of the Print Industry. I love the feel of paper, the smell of ink and the feeling of holding a beautiful finished product.
I am an Account Executive and I cover North Nevada and North California markets. I enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, cooking and spending time with family. I love my job and my clients. I approach my clients with the attitude that each one is so unique and they each require a different approach and solution to meet their needs. I equate sales to cooking. My name is Cary Secretan & I live in Pleasant Grove, Utah with my beautiful wife of 30 years, Jechelle. We are getting used to being empty nesters as all 3 of our older children recently moved away from home. I have lived in Pleasant Grove my entire life. Some may say I live a boring life, but my response to them would be that I love it here in this pretty little corner of the world.
Other than spending time with my family, my hobbies include just about anything to do with the outdoors. I love to camp, hike, hunt, fish & ride ATV’s. I spend as much time as I can in the outdoors …especially in the spring & fall months. I’ve also been known to get out & take a few hacks at a golf ball on occasion. I’ll admit I’m far from a great golfer but I still enjoy getting out on the course.
It’s hard to believe I have worked in the printing industry for over 26 years! I started out with a Flexo printing company back in 1992. I actually ran a Flexo press for 6 years before moving into sales. In 2001 I went to work for a sheet-fed offset printer. While there I got my first taste of digital printing & direct mail services. In 2013 I joined the team at CPC Solutions. It was quite the experience learning more about die-cutting & packaging, which has become the biggest part of my business. After merging with Neutekprint in early 2017 & becoming CPCneutek, I feel like I have come full-circle, back where I started with Flexographic printing. Being able to offer digital Flexo & Wide-Format products has also been a big advantage.
I think the biggest keys to my success are being available & being responsive to my clients. I’ve also found that offering alternate, more efficient solutions for our clients print projects goes a long way in keeping them as long-term customers. Whether I’m hiking the red rocks, hunting Bigfoot or helping a client with a project, I always go all out!
